San Juan Circus brings spell binding performances to the Fort Lewis College Community Concert Hall. The Durango Chamber of Commerce invites young professionals to a fall formal and learn how you can support music education at the I Am Musics fundraiser. You are watching the local news Roundup, brought to you by the FLC Center for Innovation and San Juan Regional Medical Center. I am Sadie Smith. San Juan Circus presents an enchanted evening of aerials and acrobatics on Friday, October 31st. The show titled A Book of Spells imagines What would Happen if the Words Inside an old spell book came to life. The book of spells will have two performances, a family friendly, whimsical variety show at 6:30 PM and an adult only aerial after dark show at 9:00 PM Both performances will be at the Fort Lewis College Community Concert Hall. The Durango Chamber of Commerce's, young professionals of Durango will host its annual holiday party from six 30 to 9:30 PM on Friday, October 24th at Black Hair and Lounge on Main Avenue. Attendees are encouraged to wear Durango, formal and dress to impress. The event will include food games, prizes, and DJ music. Both members and non-members are invited. Young professionals of Durango offers networking opportunities, professional development, and other chamber of commerce benefits to young adults. Ages 21 to 39 for tickets. Visit the Durango Chamber of Commerce website. I am Music invites you to support music education at the Motown at Mahogany event on Thursday, November 6th at the Strader Hotel's Mahogany Grill. The event includes a four-course meal. Motown inspired music and performances by I am music students. I am Music hopes to raise $30,000 to support music education scholarships, free instrument rentals, and youth mentorship programs. Tickets cost $150 per person.
