The Durango Chamber of Commerce seeks comments from business owners on a proposed minimum wage increase for local employees. On Tuesday, May 6th, Durango City Council will discuss the potential impacts of a proposed 15% increase to the local minimum wage, from $14.81 an hour to $17 an hour for non-tipped employees. The Chamber of Commerce sent an email to members and local business owners to comment on the proposal. If approved, the increase would not take effect until next year.
