Durango - La Plata County Airport is collecting food and supply donations for TSA personnel affected by the ongoing federal government shutdown. TSA workers nationwide have been without pay and the airport has set up collection bins near airline ticketing just inside the main entry doors. Accepted donations include non-perishables, shelf stable food, hygiene products, and infant supplies. Airport staff will collect donated goods daily and bring them to the airport conference room for TSA personnel to access. The drive is ongoing drop off donations at the airline ticketing lobby inside the main entry doors. On Wednesday, March 25th, Durango Comedy brings March Sadness to the Durango Arts Center. A local standup showcase featuring an all local lineup of comics telling honest, relatable stories about life in Durango. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 7. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at durangocomedy.com.

And closing out the month, the spring in the Rockies Arts and Crafts Festival comes to the La Plata County Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 28th and Sunday March 29th. Durango's New Dance Hub Builds Community One Swing at a Time
