Celebrate spooky season at the Three Springs Fall Festival on Saturday October 25th. Durango friends of the Library will host its third book sale of 2025 this November, and the Colorado State University extension of La Plata County brings a statewide agriculture conference to Durango. Join the three Springs 19th Annual Fall Festival from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 25th at Three Springs Plaza. Activities include trick or treating pumpkin, decorating, a scavenger hunt and a coloring contest sponsored by Alpine Bank. Halloween costumes are encouraged. Durango Friends of the Library will host its fall book sale from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, November 7th and eighth at the Durango Public Library. Colorado State University extension of La Plata County presents its third annual Women in Agriculture State Conference on Thursday and Friday, November 13th and 14th at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. This is CS U'S third Annual Women in Ag Conference previously held in Pueblo in Weld County. This year's theme is a climate of resilience with a focus on adapting to Colorado's constantly changing climate. The conference will also include workshops, vendors, local food, and a wellness center. The conference costs $125 with a discounted rate available for students ages 14 to 18.
