This is a Snow down event hosted by Durango Winter Sports Club. We had three different events. We had the Gen Z Millennial Rail Jam with 14 and up and adults. And then this morning we had the Skills Quest event for younger kids, which is a kind of a combination of a few different skills that apply to freestyle mogul skiing. And then we're about to have the junior rail jam for 13 and under Kids

We really just want to have like a fun local event at the local hill in Durango that's accessible 'cause freestyle skiing is something that can be pretty hard to get into. This is our fourth annual time having the skills quest here and the second annual rail jam. All our entry fees are going to go to local youth winter sport clubs and also youth sports facilities. So it takes a lot to run a ski club and it also takes a lot to like build and maintain courses so all the proceeds go to that. Chapman Hill is like a great place to learn how to progress. One thing that makes Chapman really good for training is that you can get lots of repetitions on what you're training on and then it's been a great training ground for like serious athletes. And then it's also an awesome place to take your young child to learn how to ski. It's really cool to watch them progress as they get more time on their skis and as they get stronger is kind of like the best part of the job. When I was growing up here, we had a lot of friends and athletes to ski with, one of which being Charlie Mickel, who's going to the Olympics. A lot of these kids that were out here today doing the skills quest, remind me of Charlie when he was a kid.
