Hi, I'm Hillary Knox, VP of Member Experience, at La Plata Electric Association, and this is your LPEA Wire for September.

LPEA appreciates you, our members, so let us prove it to you. Join us for one of our Member Appreciation Lunches this September, in Durango and in Pagosa Springs. We'll have live music by Tim Sullivan, delicious food by Porky's Smokehouse, and Smokin' Joe's unreal barbecue, and plenty of door prizes, including an electric lawn mower. You must be present to win. So, join us for the Durango Member Appreciation Lunch, on Wednesday, September 22nd, or the Pagosa Member Appreciation Lunch, on Thursday, September 23rd. You're welcome to show up any time, between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM, and stay as long as you like. We hope to see you there. For more details and logistics, visit our website, but that's not your only chance to connect with LPEA in the weeks ahead. We will also host our 2021 Annual Meeting, virtually, on Wednesday, October 6th at 6:00 PM. Join us, from the comfort of your own home, to hear presentations on LPEA's 2020 accomplishments, business updates, finances, and bring your questions for the Live Q&A Session. Attendees will be entered to win numerous door prizes, so make sure to attend. Preregistration is required, so visit to register today. Lastly, there's been a nip in the morning air recently, and that means that fall is right around the corner. As you start to think about your heating needs for the upcoming winter, remember that LPEA offers rebates that can help you offset the cost of different heating technologies. If you are keen to get an Energy Audit on your home to save money this winter, we'll rebate you $150 for that. If you're interested in investing in Cold-Climate Heat Pumps, we have rebates of up to $550 per ton for those, or if you're interested in Electric Thermal Storage Systems, we have rebates of $30 per kilowatt for those. Bottom line, if you're thinking of undertaking any home improvement projects and preparations for this winter, check to see if we have rebates that can help. And that's it for this September Edition of LPEA Wire. We'll see you next month, with more from LPEA.
