AREA SCHOOL DISTRICTS WILL OFFER ONLINE EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT AND MEAL DELIVERY AFTER COLORADO GOVERNOR JARED POLIS CLOSED ALL SCHOOLS IN THE STATE THIS WEEK. BROUGHT TO YOU BY SERIOUS TEXAS BARBECUE, NOW OFFERING DRIVE-THROUGH AND TAKE-OUT SERVICES. ALL SCHOOLS IN COLORADO WILL REMAIN CLOSED AT LEAST UNTIL APRIL 17TH. DURANGO SCHOOL DISTRICT 9-R WILL OFFER ONLINE CLASSES AND ASKS PARENTS TO FILL OUT AN ONLINE SURVEY BY MONDAY, MARCH 23. STUDENTS ALSO WILL BE ALLOWED TO PICK UP MEAL BAGS WITH BREAKFAST AND / OR LUNCH EACH DAY AT SELECTED LOCATIONS NEAR THEIR SCHOOLS. ANY CHILD UP TO 18 YEARS OF AGE IS ELIGIBLE. BEGINNING WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25TH, MEALS WILL BE DISPERSED FROM 11 A.M. TO 1 P.M. DAILY AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS AND AT SELECTED SITES WITHIN ATTENDANCE AREAS. FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF DROP-OFF-SITES.PARENTS ARE ASKED TO FILL OUT A MEAL REQUEST ONLINE AT DURANGO SCHOOLS DOT ORG. FORT LEWIS COLLEGE WILL SUSPEND CLASSES MARCH 23RD THROUGH THE 27TH, THEN WILL OFFER ONLINE INSTRUCTION ONLY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEMESTER. MAY GRADUATION CEREMONIES WILL BE POSTPONED WITH EXACT DATES TO BE DETERMINED. ALL STUDENTS SERVICES WILL BE OFFERED VIRTUALLY. ALL CAMPUS EVENTS WILL BE MOVED ONLINE OR CANCELED.
