The Hive is a youth centered community hub where we have an indoor skate park and all ages music venue, a sober space to explore passionate progress through art and all sorts of different mentoring opportunities. With youth, really our goal is to have a safe place for kids to come hang out with adults themselves and feel heard, seen, and have a sense of belonging. So the Hive has an indoor skate park, so that's the big draw. We have skaters, scooters, BMXers, roller skaters, roller bladers.

The programming that we offer is focused on art, skateboarding, and music. We're currently running afterschool programming on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from four to five 30 we do skateboard lessons. And Tuesdays and Thursdays we do art workshops. So we want to create a space where kids can express themselves in whatever way they see fit, and sometimes even in aggressive ways. Skateboarding is an aggressive activity and that to be okay. If your mood was an emotional weather forecast, what would your weather look like? Who wants to start?

We kind of use the skate park and all the cool things we do as our carrot to lure them in to provide long-term mentorship. As courage helps us push through scary things, it takes a village to raise kids. We want to be those positive adult role models in their lives, helping them thrive and explore different parts of themselves and become the best versions of themselves. Come check out our new

Location at 1175 Camino del Rio and seek and enjoy. Find out what your flavor is, pursue your passion. If it's something that we are yet to offer, bring it up to us and we can find what avenues, what doors we need to open. What red tape we need to clear so that you can express yourself as you see fit. Come check it out.
