Do you like maple syrup on your pancakes, or bumble berry or both? You don't have to choose when you chow down at the Kiwanis Club of Durango's annual pancake supper. You're watching the Local News Network brought to you by StoneAge Tools and the Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado. I'm Wendy Graham Settle. The Kiwanis Club of Durango will host its 60th annual Pancake Day fundraiser from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, on Thursday September 15th at the La Plata County fairgrounds. And Kiwanis members hope you'll attend to help them celebrate the club's 75th anniversary. The pancake supper is the club's biggest fundraiser of the year, generating between 20 and $30,000 from ticket sales and a silent auction.

Well, all the money that the Kiwanis raise stays in La Plata County for children's charities. And so we pass that money straight across to people like, this is our flyer, adaptive sports, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, the Boys and Girls Clubs.

Tickets for the supper are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. You can buy them from any Kiwanis Club member

Please come, breakfast, lunch or dinner. We serve pancakes, ham, scrambled eggs. We have blueberries, green chili to go on the side. We have coffee from Durango Joe's, orange juice. It's a delicious meal, and it's a lot of fun.

The Kiwanis Club of Durango meets at noon every Thursday at TBK bank. For more information, visit Kiwanisclubofdurango.org.
